| On December 8th a "thank you" dinner was held at the Fontana Breakfast Lions Club to honor those who donated cash or toys to the annual Toys for Tots campaign. Our President Richard Bruce and others were on hand to deliver the toys collected at the Union Hall. A plaque was given to Local 8599 commemorating our participation in this years event. |
| What a fantastic time it was at the Relay for Life on May 15th and 16th. The Miracle Makers booths sold popcorn and turtle necklaces and added over $100 more to the total raised! According to event coordinator Janie Burgo over $59,000 was raised to fight against cancer. Thanks to all of the 52 teams who participated, and special thanks to the USW members on those teams. |
